A stylish, versatile, and innovative jacket designed with urban cyclists in mind.

Urban cycling is on the rise thanks to a number of reasons that range from health and environmental concerns to convenience. Now we can also add safety to that list. However, cycling apparel has largely remained limited to sportswear designs, making life a bit more challenging for office commuters. London-based menswear designer Oliver Spencer, an avid cyclist himself, has designed the ultimate jacket that provides the perfect wardrobe solution for urban cyclists and commuters around the world. Created in a partnership with Brompton, the Brompton Blazer draws inspiration from the Brompton Bicycle. More specifically, from the bike’s distinctive 3-way folding system.

The jacket has a unique strap system with an integrated musette bag for easy storage. In warmer weather, you can wear the blazer like a backpack and enjoy the cool breeze while cycling. The jacket then packs away neatly into the bag, with the straps offering an easy solution to carry the pouch. As practical as it is stylish, the blazer has a range of features to make the daily commute more convenient. It’s made from an Italian, water-resistant performance material with a textured surface. The lightweight fabric doesn’t crease and keeps its shape. This makes it easy to fold the Brompton Blazer away and then wear it – no ironing needed.

Concealed vents on the shoulders open while riding and reflective strips enhance the rider’s visibility in low lighting conditions. Other features include a reflective button loop that closes the collar for extra warmth, a diagonal, easy-access zip-up pocket, and concealed side pockets. Apart from the stylish blazer, Brompton has also launched a special, limited-edition bike that features a one-off Oliver Spencer color scheme. Photographs© Oliver Spencer and Brompton.
