Food and Drink, Italians do it better

Brocche Fondenti, Chocolate Nails

View all 8 Photos

They nailed it! Chocolate! Really, truly they have us totally figured out. The Brocche Fondenti Chocolate Nails by Monica Maggi, Pippo Marino and Giangi Caffio are a delectable chocolate design involving our two most greatest loves: dessert and backpacking. It’s an ode to the brocca which is an Italian nail used for hiking boots handmade at  Valle di Ledro. Their heads can decorate a cake top, its pointed end plunges into the layers beneath the frosting. Yum!
