A modernized classic with a fierce personality.

Passionate about bringing vintage cars to life, Legacy Overland expertly restores classics to their former glory. This gorgeous 1985 black Toyota Land Cruiser also features some modern touches and a range of practical features that make it more than adventure-ready. Named ‘ Project Sequoia’, the custom build brings a fierce look to the classic model, turning heads everywhere it goes. The exterior boasts a matte black paint with glossy black details, while the interior features premium vegan leather upholstery. An open-top, half-doors on the front and rear, and an extra strength roll bar enhance the car’s off-road look.

After a comprehensive restoration process, this vintage gem comes with a metalized chassis treatment, a complete overhaul for the mechanics as well as corrosion-proofing on the body and components to guarantee their longevity. Thanks to the 1.5” suspension lift, the owner can easily use chunky mud-terrain tires when needed. This black Toyota Land Cruiser comes with a 3L inline 4-cylinder diesel engine, a 4-speed manual gearbox, and BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires on 16×8” steel wheels. On front there’s some new LED headlights, while the rear features an LED utility light. A bull bar with LED auxiliary lights is also included in this custom build.

Inside, the car now features a Bluetooth-enabled Sony sound system with four speakers. Made from premium vegan leather, the front sport bucket seats and rear foldable benches showcase a handcrafted pattern. Other details include a jerry can with holder and D-ring attachment points on both the front and the rear of the car. Ultimately, this black Toyota Land Cruiser is perfect for both urban driving and adventures in wild landscapes. Photographs© Legacy Overland.
