Black Ruby Houseware by Debbie Wijskamp

View all 6 Photos

Unusual yet beautiful, the Black Ruby house ware collection is a composite of recycled tire rubber that exudes an astoundingly soft touch by its pebble like features. Debbie Wijskamp used her passion for handcrafting designs to create such a charming collection. She created a technique that recycles widely available rubber powder into waterproof, functional objects. She makes these small tire “pebbles” and uses a polyurethane binder to make these cool looking cups, bowls, vessels and plates. These lovely creations can pull an outdoor vibe into the atmosphere of a home.
