A strikingly creative version of the classic court shoe.
After launching the beautifully crafted interpretation of the iconic desert boot, New York-based brand Feit impresses again with its creative Black Crackle Collection. This winter range offers an eye-catching twist on the brand’s popular handmade silhouettes. Showcasing expert craftsmanship like never before, the new Hand Sewn High boasts a black paint finish with a crackled surface. The rare semi-cordovan leather upper underneath shows through thanks to its white tone. Over time, the paint will crack further, giving the design a truly unique look and character. As a result, no two Black Crackle Hand Sewn High shoes will ever be the same, with their design instantly transformed by the wearer, one step at a time.
All Feit products are made by hand by one experienced craftsman, from start to finish. The shoes feature a range of techniques and materials; these include a hand-sewn upper, a cork footbed, and a leather outsole, as well as natural, water-based glues. You can find the new Black Crackle collection at the Feit Prince Street and Greenwich Avenue stores, or in the brand’s online store. The Hand Sewn High costs $660, with a Low version also available at $600. Photographs© Feit.
