With its optimized design, the Bianchi Impulso RC brings the efficiency of perfect aerodynamics to gravel bike racing.
Using the knowledge gained from the development of the Oltre RC aero bike and the Specialissima RC all-rounder bike, Italian brand Bianchi and its racing department, Reparto Corse, created the ultimate gravel bike. Named Impulso RC, this bicycle is specially made to win gravel races with a perfected and optimized geometry. Geared toward the needs of competitive gravel racers, the bike combines excellent aerodynamic performance with off-road capabilities and a lightweight build. As a result, Impulso RC exceeds the high demands of technical gravel racing. The optimized geometry focuses on enhancing aerodynamics, with clever details including a custom aero wheelset, an integrated fork, and a D-shaped seat post that enhances comfort while riding.
The minimalist frame boosts the bike’s aerodynamic profile further, as it features clean, dynamic lines and no unnecessary details like mounts or protruding components that would add drag. Additionally, the Impulso RC is a pleasure to ride, as it not only offers total control even on rough terrain, but also has an improved cockpit system. The re-engineered design adds stiffness to the bike for extra control and an overall better riding feel. Plus, the flare of the handlebars offer even more precision, and since Bianchi uses carbon fiber, they keep the weight of the bike low. Other important geometry details include a shorter stem, a 1,025mm wheelbase, and 70mm bottom bracket drops.
The frame allows users to install 42mm tires, with the minimum tire size set at 30mm. Specially designed, the seat improves aerodynamics and also maximizes power transmission while pedaling. Apart from the Impulso RC for elite gravel racers, Bianchi has also launched the Impulso Pro for off-road riding, and Impulso Comp for high-speed gravel riding.
