Bambi Chair: A Little Friend from the Forest

View all 5 Photos

Italian journalist Elena Cattaneo is reporting on Design Week from Milan. This is her first post for GBlog.

Stemming directly from the fairy tales that impressed our small hearts the most, the Bambi is an inspired chair for children. We can rest assured that no animal was harmed to make this vision reality; the seat is upholstered in nylon and the base and back are made of solid European oak and hickory. The Bambi chair is by the young designer Takeshi Sawada of Tokyo for EO Denmark, a Danish family business, and was presented at Milan Design Week in the Danish Living Room.
