Passionate about natural materials and merging art with interior design, Copenhagen-based Kristina Dam Studio creates minimalist, refined, and sculptural products for the modern home. The studio’s AW17 collection includes a wide range of designs, providing a complete solution to enhance a room’s décor.
The elegant seating takes inspiration from both Japanese and Scandinavian design. The Minimal Daybed and Minimal Bench feature a soft foam mattress or seat with a Tonica fabric from Kvadrat in light gray, as well as a black oiled or natural oak frame. The Sculptural Chair brings a creative touch to the collection, while the rotating mirror helps to change the user’s perspective with a playful design.
Eye-catching and modern, the Grid Cabinet boasts a perforated steel surface and a black marble top plate, with a Grid Wall Shelf also available. Accessories include concrete geometric trays, a concrete sculpture inspired by architectural designs, and a floor lamp that combines burned steel and solid brass. The range also features a coffee table, terracotta vases, and posters, among others. The collection makes its debut at the Formland fair in 17-20 August. It will also be exhibited at Maison & Objet at the beginning of September. Images courtesy of Kristina Dam Studio.
