Camping in a gorgeous natural landscape offers a special kind of relaxation that no hotel retreat can match, but many are put off by a certain lack of comfort or limited access to facilities. AutoCamp Russian River provides the ideal alternative to traditional camping and manages to maintain the perfect balance between modern comfort, stylish design and natural simplicity.
Recently opened, the new campsite is located in a beautiful native Redwood forest, an hour and a half away from San Francisco, and offers three types of accommodation. The custom-made Airstream campers are designed by the Dan Weber Architecture studio and built in the USA. Guests have access to a queen-size bed, a spa-inspired bathroom with a walk-in shower, a kitchen, convertible sofa, and a fire pit and deck; linen, towels, kitchen utensils and Malin+Goetz products are also provided. The accessible suite offers the same facilities as the campers; designed and built in Santa Barbara, California, it features an accessible ramp and a fully-accessible bathroom. Those who prefer the charm of classic camping can stay in one of the several tents that are equipped with queen-size beds, electricity, fire pit and grill, and comfortable linens. At the heart of the site, a clubhouse provides the ideal space for socializing, shopping or simply relaxing. Here, guests will find a mid-century décor, hanging chairs, lounging areas, and locally made drinks and food; the adventure desk offers information about various activities and access to bicycles to explore the area. Apart from walking through the Redwood forest, guests can also swim or canoe in the Russian River, take a bike trip to the charming town of Guerneville, which is located nearby, or have a picnic in a sunny meadow. If you want to enjoy a camping experience like no other, you can book your next adventure on the AutoCamp Russian River website.
