View all 11 Photos

Photographer Atalia Katz is based in Tel Aviv and New York City. She takes documentary pictures and portraits around the world, with people, nature, and objects as her subjects. Reflecting on her craft, Katz says, “I view photography as another dimension, alongside writing, that provides me with the primary tools for expressing my inner self, the excitement of discovery and the exhilaration of creation every day.” Her documentary photographs in particular delve into emotional territory, taking risks and delivering intimate images of people within a larger social and ecological context.
