A perfect blend of classic and modern, the ‘Aspen Project’ brings an iconic car back to life. Restored by FJ Company, this Toyota FJ43 follows on the footsteps of another impressive project completed by the team. Unlike the bold natural colors of the previous FJ43, this 1982 Land Cruiser features light neutral tones as well as a distinctly contemporary interior.
Elegant and timeless, the exterior boasts a matte white paint, silver accents and a canvas top with a sand color. The team preserved various original features, from the classic grille and bold fenders to the headlight bezels. New parts include a 210-horsepower Toyota 1FZ engine with a 5-speed manual transmission, a Warn 8274 winch installed on the original bumper, a roll cage, as well as PIAA 7″ LED fog lights. Inside, the cabin combines technology, comfort and style. The seats boast marine-grade upholstery that complements the door panels and rear seats. A digital instrument panel, LED interior lighting and premium sound system give this 1982 car a sleek 2017 makeover. Photo credits: FJ Company.
