The Archimede 1950-3 Watch

A minimalist timepiece designed with vintage-style details.

Following on the footsteps of the 1950-1 and 1950-2 designs, the new Archimede 1950-3 timepieces draws inspiration from the refinement of vintage watches. Minimalist and elegant, this watch pays homage to the distinctive character of 1950s timepieces. Like the other watches from Archimede’s 1950 series, this version features the signature curved dial and curved hands. However, this model has the most minimalist aesthetic of the collection, boasting only two hands and subtle indexes.

The vintage-style domed dial has a brushed and polished surface in either black or blue. Both the curved hands and the indexes feature a luminous coating to ensure that the user can see the time with ease even in low-lighting conditions. Every watch comes with a beautifully crafted ICKLER case. Made of stainless steel, it measures 40mm in diameter and it features an onion crown and a screw-down case back with a mineral crystal.

The 1950-3 watches come with Swiss SW 200-1 automatic movements as standard. Hand-wound SW 215 movements are also available, at an extra cost. Other features include a domed sapphire crystal, water resistance up to 3 ATM, and optional deployment clasps. Customers can also choose between the vintage-style black, dark brown, and light brown leather straps. Alternatively, they can opt for the Milanese metal straps that have a polished finish and folding clasps. The Archimede 1950-3 watch is available now at prices that start at €621, or around $750.
