Modular eyeglasses that are both paper-light and extremely durable.

Established in Germany in 2016 by a team of designers and creative thinkers, Annu makes versatile eyewear with an honest design and an innovative build. The brand uses highly durable materials and cutting-edge tech to craft eye-wear that is not only stylish, but also comfortable to wear. Annu’s collection features both optical glasses and sunglasses. They feature a modular design that allows the user to mix-and-match between different components to find the ideal combination. Annu offers customers the option to select the materials, lenses, frames, and even the size of the nose-pads. That way, the brand can ensure that the modular eyeglasses can adapt to fit every face.

While they are literally paper-light at 4 grams, Annu glasses are strong and durable. The brand claims that these glasses are almost impossible to break in everyday situations. Each frame features the company’s innovative paperclip concept to create a strong as well as flexible structure.

Designed and made in-house in the brand’s workshop, the Annu Clip Collection minimizes waste and reduces its impact on the environment. The line incorporates both cutting-edge laser sintering 3D printing technology and artisan-like skills. It features Annu’s ingenious temple and hinge concept that draws inspiration from the classic paperclip. Modular components make customization easy. The collection includes a range of frames, colors, and materials, with all of the modular eyeglasses boasting quality lenses crafted in Bavaria. Photographs© Annu Eyewear.
