Located in the East Village, this spacious loft offers beautiful views of St. Mark’s Church in-the-Bowery and a living space filled with natural light. The owners hired the Shadow Architects firm to design and reorganize the interior. The heart of the home is the large open plan area housing a living room, dining room, and kitchen. Here, the tall windows present on three sides create a bright and welcoming space by letting in generous amounts of natural light. The lounge area offers access to a spacious home office and studio, which is separated from the rest of the room by sliding doors made of glass and blackened steel; a projector is placed above, working with the roll-down screen to offer a convenient way to watch movies and TV. In the dining room, Flos Lighting Aim Lamps are placed above a custom-made table made of reclaimed wood. The bathroom is modern and features a striking custom photo mural wallpaper from Swedish company Mr Perswall; the giant white flowers seem an abstract pattern at first sight, their organic beauty complementing the clean lines of the rest of the bathroom beautifully. Throughout the apartment, wooden floors add a touch of warmth and rustic allure, providing the perfect balance in a home where white walls, dark accents, and contemporary furniture create a modern and stylish interior.
