A Moto Guzzi from 1984 transformed into a stylish and modern ride.

Based in Monza, a city northeast of Milan, Italy, the Ruote Fiere workshop makes custom bikes that reference the history of motorcycling with imaginative and bold designs. This 1984 Moto Guzzi bike is no exception. Named Bazooka 110 Le Mans R, this custom build builds upon the classic Moto Guzzi lines and complements the iconic style of the Italian motorcycle manufacturer with modern touches. The bike now features a custom frame – modified and reinforced from an open pipe Tonti Le Mans 3 series. The workshop also moved the engine on top and installed new support beams and an upper crankcase. At the front, there’s a Marzocchi aluminum fork with modified stems.

Apart from aluminum rims with three spokes, the motorcycle also features Bridgestone Battlax tires. As for the brake kit, the team paired bespoke Ruote Fiere single and double disc brakes with Ducati calipers and bridges as well as Brembo pumps. The 1100cc V-twin engine is air and oil cooled with an aluminum racing radiator that is also customized with aeronautical ducts and a special camshaft. Ruote Fiere also designed a new electrical system with a Ducati voltage regulator and an M-Unit Motogadget electronic control unit. Other features include a 5-speed gearbox, a handcrafted 2-in-1 stainless steel exhaust system, a black seat, and a handmade tank. The workshop finished the bike with a white, black, and matte silver palette. However, all of this info only scratches the surface of what the team achieved. Check out the workshop’s images to discover this beautifully detailed build. Photographs © Ruote Fiere.
