A zero-emissions bike that marks a new chapter for the motorcycle manufacturer.

Drawing inspiration from the pioneering design of the Vitpilen and Svartpilen bikes, Husqvarna Motorcycles has created a zero-emissions bike, the E-Pilen Concept. The design is one of several electric motorcycle concepts developed by the team in a quest to provide green transportation solutions to urban dwellers. E-Pilen Concept embodies the design principles as well as the smart features and performance capabilities of the new e-mobility range. Created with both urban commuters and leisure riders in mind, the motorcycle has a power output of 8 kW and a range of around 100 km, or around 62 miles.

The design also features a modular battery system that allows the user to swap batteries as needed for longer rides. The battery capacity will maximize the time between charges; this will make E-Pilen an attractive choice for both commuting or shorter out-of-city journeys. In terms of design, the E-Pilen Concept motorcycle shines with its subtle futuristic vibes, angular forms, and dynamic silhouette. The bike also features the company’s signature yellow accents. Husqvarna has announced that the new zero-emissions line will provide the same riding comfort of the previous models. Currently, the company hasn’t made any technical details public. However, it aims to release more info about this concept and the planned electric range in the near future. Photographs© Husqvarna Motorcycles.
