A Custom 1983 Moto Guzzi Café Racer

View all 5 Photos

A classic and minimalist bike designed with a 1970s style and golden accents.

Founded by Axel Budde, Kaffeemaschine is a German motorcycle workshop that completes custom builds with a classic style. Apart from their stylish look, every handcrafted bike features custom-made parts made in-house by the skilled Kaffeemaschine team. This custom 1983 Moto Guzzi is no exception. To create the bike, the team started with a Moto Guzzi Le Mans III from 1983. Inspired by sports bikes from the 1970s, the motorcycle has a slender silhouette as well as a clean, minimalist design.

The bike features a modified frame that gives the café racer an elegant look while accommodating various custom parts. Upgrades include modern electronics, improved brakes, suspension, and engine, as well as a stylish tank, a comfortable saddle, and a bespoke exhaust system. The team chose a classic black and gold color palette for this build, but the bike also features complementing matte and polished finishes.

Completed in 2019, the custom Moto Guzzi café racer made its debut at the Bike Shed Show in London where motorcycle fans had the opportunity to admire it up close. If your heart started racing while looking at the photos of the bike, we have some good news. At the time of writing, the motorcycle was available to buy directly from the workshop’s website. However, if you miss your chance, don’t worry. You can select from other Kaffeemaschine custom builds completed with the same classic design. Photographs© Kaffeemaschine.
