NikeLab and Undercover founder Jun Takahashi have recently launched their latest collaboration. The Nike X Undercover Gyakusou Holiday 2016 Collection continues the designer’s penchant for creating apparel items with a rebel, punk-rock spirit, but also features a modern, urban aesthetic. Gyakusou means “running in reverse” in Japanese and refers to the counterclockwise direction in which the members of Takahashi’s run club navigated the pathways in YoYogi Park, Tokyo.

The collection aims to provide functionality and engineered performance, while ultimately allowing athletes and urban runners to achieve perfect clarity, without any distractions. The men and women apparel products have modern and striking designs with muted yet vibrant color tones and neutral shades. The range includes pants and tights, running shoes, caps and t-shirts, as well as packable jackets that conveniently roll into a small pouch, and running jackets that offer optimal performance in cold weather conditions. You can check out the collection and give your running gear an upgrade by visiting the official website. Prices start at $35 for the headbands and reach $350 for the track jackets.
