Equal parts style and substance, the limited edition End. X Clarks Originals Desert Coal “Black Diamond” desert boot pays homage to the coal miners of past centuries and to an industry that has changed the landscape of Northern and Eastern England, transforming the country in the process. End. has with teamed up with Clarks Originals to produce this collaborative design that celebrates both the industrial workers and the fruit of their labor. The elegant and minimal appearance is complemented by the intense black tone reminiscent of anthracite and soot, but the attention to detail and passion for premium quality match the good looks of the boots. The leather for the upper section was sourced from Stead Tannery located in Leeds, which is another industrial town in Northern England. Silver stitching details add a subtle contrast to the black leather upper, along with the 3M woven heel pull and iron-effect eyelets. The boots also feature a Desert Trek crepe sole, black and silver laces, and diamond shaped stamped leather tags; they come in a custom-made textured box with a hessian coal sack boasting the logos of the two companies.
