A Beautifully Restored 1972 Ducati Scrambler 350

Founded in 1926, Ducati launched its first motorcycle engine in 1946, the Cucciolo. By the 1960s, the company secured its place in history with Mach 1, the fastest 250 cc bike available at the time. The dire decline of motorcycle sales in Italy caused in part by the introduction of the Fiat 500 saw the creation of the Scrambler bikes. They were launched in 1962, first with a 250 cc single cylinder engine sold mostly in the US, then followed by 350 cc and 450 cc engines. The bikes were affordable, smaller, easy to ride, and more lightweight than the previous models, which explained their success and the iconic status they ultimately gained in Italy. Decades later, the company’s vintage designs maintain their spirit alive and are still treasured around the world. This wonderfully restored 1972 Scrambler 350 illustrates the timeless allure of Italian design and has been recently overhauled by Legend Motors. The motorcycle has been kept in fantastic condition by its previous two owners and has traveled only 24,600 km, an impressive number considering the bike’s manufacturing year. But what makes the motorcycle stand out is the elegant design and graceful silhouette, along with the stylish contrast of colors and great attention to detail. A vintage rare bike in a near-perfect condition is valuable; a classic Italian one even more so. This particular Ducati is currently available at a price of under $9,000 and it’s ready to begin the next chapter in its journey. Images courtesy of Legend Motors.
