View all 5 Photos

Born of a collaboration between German design students Severin Arnold, Bluemel Finn, and Angelina Barks, this bench collapses into an extremely compact volume without any disassembly required. Cleverly employing basic principles of structural engineering, interwoven plywood slats are used for compression and rigidity, with flexible nylon straps acting in tension at joints.
