12F1 Custom Built Single Speed Commuter by Ucycles

View all 23 Photos

Ucycles is a young workshop that makes customized bicycles in Italy. They built one of their latest designs, the 12F1, for a client requesting a fixed-gear bike with disc brakes on the rear wheel. Assembled in Italy, the bike is made up of luxury components with vintage flair. The frame is welded from steel, oxidized an aged-looking green, and double-coated with varnish. The contrasting wheels are made of metal and Ghisallo wood. Additionally, the bike features Nitto tires, MKS pedals, Cromor Columbus tubing, a crank lever and brakes by Paul Component Engineering, a bottom bracket by Phil Wood, and a Swallow saddle by Brooks. The tony design is viewable in Ucycle’s online portfolio.
