The 10:10 by Nendo Buckle Watch Color Series

An exclusive Buckle watch series made with monochrome palettes.

Launched in a limited-edition series, the new Buckle Watch Colors line from the10:10 by Nendo collection features the same ingenious strap design, but in a monochrome palette. The Japanese brand created the original Buckle watch with an innovative strap design that draws inspiration from the simplicity of a belt buckle system. The strap connects to the case at the six o’clock mark; this allows the user to simply loop the band over the wrist and into the buckle in one smooth motion. Like the original watches, the limited-edition color series features the same minimalist dial with three-dimensional markers and slender hour, minute, and second hands. Only two small dots appear on the dial, at the three o’clock mark, keeping the design as clean as possible.

The Colors series features 36mm stainless steel cases and mineral glass covers as well as a Japanese Quartz movements. Canvas straps that match the colors of the dials complete the monochrome look. The Buckle Colors series comes in five colors: beige, red, green, blue, and black. Muted and modern, the hues vary slightly in order to enhance legibility. For example, the hands and markers boast a subtly lighter or darker hue, making them stand out against the dial. While available only in Japan, the series will hopefully be released in other countries soon. Photographs© 10:10 by Nendo.
