Union

Union is a small furniture and interior design company based in Berkeley, California. With a Thoughtful approach to design and a relentless commitment to craft, Union Studio produces heirloom quality furniture and handmade architecture. Each project is designed by the Company's founder, Matthew Bear and built by select craftspeople throughout the San Francisco bay area. Prototypes and limited edition furniture pieces are created in-house in our small workshop. Union studio projects are driven bu the materials that we use and every pieces is the expression of the handmade. Furniture is made to order and generally takes 10 weeks to produce. Dimensions and wood species may be altered and we always welcome custom commissions.
