Mario Alessiani was born in 1989 in Teramo, Italy. While studying product design at Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Milan, he started working as a designer and collaborated with various well-known brands and studios. After a stint in London where he worked as a junior designer for Jake Phipps, he returned to Italy to establish his eponymous studio in 2013. Inspired by the concept of “functional beauty”, Mario Alessiani creates elegant and minimalist objects that range from lighting to furniture and kitchen accessories. He has collaborated with various companies, including Hatria, Hiro, Offiseria, Pharaoh, and more. In 2019, Mario Alessiani was included in Design People Milano’s Best Italian Designers Under 30 list at the Triennale di Milano.
