Architect and designer Jonas Wagell originally studied graphic and print design. After establishing a successful career in strategic project management and communication, he decided to explore his passion for design in other fields. Wagell returned to school and completed his interior architecture and furniture design studies. He founded JWDA in Stockholm in 2008. One of the studio’s first projects, a prefab concept house, was recognized by Wallpaper* Magazine, with Wagell included on the magazine’s “World’s 50 hottest young architects” list in 2008. JWDA is currently focused on product and furniture design, while also providing creative direction and brand strategy services to international companies.
