Gavin Maddock Design Studio is based in Noosa, Australia’s favourite holiday destination, located on the sunshine coast one and a half hours drive north of Brisbane. The practice has been responsible for the design of some of Noosa’s most respectable establishments. These include building renovations and interior fitouts for Rickys Riverbar + Restaurant, Tom Offermann Real Estate and the Ogilvie Group. The successful refurbishment of the Noosa Wharf complex, now named Qplace, has further demonstrated the practices’ passion for design as well as reflecting successful budget management. The reconstruction of the tenancy formally occupied by Riva Restaurant and now home to Wasabi Restaurant has added to the continuing list and range of projects. From the Champions Centre for Kings Christian Church, a 3000m² multifunctional building in Buderim to the minor furniture refurbishment at Aromas Noosa on Hastings Street, the practice enjoys a diversity of skills and interests. On the residential front, the practice is equally comfortable providing guidance to clients seeking low budget design alternatives to improve their living arrangements, as it is in providing full service solutions to clients seeking new dwellings on high profile properties.
