Artelabo is an architectural firm based in Gignac, north of Montpellier (Hérault). The studio is dedicated to designing, restructuring and / or rehabilitation of public or private buildings, to the creation of internal or external developments, and to providing consulting services to communities, businesses and individuals. Since its creation in 2012, the agency is run by two people and guided by a single approach to architecture. Beyond its necessary functionality, architecture creates a physical and sensory experience. Like music, it accompanies human experiences, provides a framework for memories, and is able to reveal part of the world's beauty. The joy of architecture is also the one that gives its material manifestation: plastic art, graphic and constructive articulation, determining dimensions and relations to scale, composition of shadows and light, the relationship between interior and exterior, the temporality of spaces. Finally, it is the understanding of the meaning of architecture, which is more or less hidden; it can be connected to a landscape, a story, or can exist simply by itself.
