In advance of AW’15, the Amsterdam-based clothiers Delikatessen have unveiled their latest lookbook for fall and winter fashion. Inspired by authentic Italian balsamic vinegar, the new line joins Delikatessen’s Caponata, Fava, Harvest, and Kale collections of earthy menswear. The cold-weather clothes run the gamut of traditional European style: wool coats of broadcloth or lana cotta, suits of wool and silk blends or pure Scottish Harris wool, silk or cotton blend overshirts, jersey knit crewnecks, and wool and cotton shirts with seersucker or flannel patterns and wooden or mother of pearl buttons. Each piece makes use of deep colors such as the rich brown of aged balsamic vinegar, and like a good bottle, all of these tried-and-true fashions are sure to stand the tests of time and taste.
