This contemporary cabin was created by AtelierOslo in Hønefoss, Norway. Located in the in Krokskogen forests, the small building overlooks the Steinsfjorden section of lake Tyrifjorden. The exterior is traditionally clad in straight-lined stone and visually lightened by the trio of front-facing glass walls. Inside, the curved walls lined with birch plywood for a natural, smooth look. The warm space is lit by sunlight, a glass-encased fireplace, and gentle exposed lamps. For an additional sense of coziness, there are soft partitions, such as the curtain concealing the bedroom, and traditional levels, which double as steps and built-in furniture.
