In the presence of Colimbo, you can almost taste the salt in the air from the Aegean Sea that borders the islands of Greece. Named after the diver bird, these pendant lamps interface with both sky and sea. Featuring the use of both hard and soft materiality, the lamps designed by Manolito & Manolita call upon the fishing trade for inspiration. The light, cotton shade is woven upon a metal mesh traditionally used as a fishing trap, and gold and black threads dance upon the surface in a variety of patterns. The lamps create a warm and comforting ambience, the perfect environment in which to spend the lazy summer evenings.
